@  Caryn : (16 May 2018 - 11:01 AM)

How strange  I get to the usual full site :/

@  DiscoMoose : (15 May 2018 - 01:36 PM)

Ah... makes sense about the warning page. So glad she found a workaround, so as not to scare of potential new forum peeps... still, if I visit ratanooga.co.za I get only a 'hello' on the page *blush*

@  Caryn : (13 May 2018 - 05:48 PM)

Tails created the alternative forum address to get around that big red warning page, hence the redirection. No idea what's going on in general though, haven't heard from Tails in ages :( The main Ratanooga.co.za website though is still up and running as per normal.

@  DiscoMoose : (11 May 2018 - 03:24 PM)

I was also not so down with the big red virus warning the forum was making (i knew it was safe, but it disturbed my sense of loving things that are orderly) - so i'm happy that's gone. Some other observations: why is the forum redirecting to internot.co.za? what is happening to ratanooga.co.za? the page source over there is just a single 'hello'...? hmm curiouser and curiouser... ;)

@  DiscoMoose : (09 May 2018 - 12:00 PM)

I've been missing in action *blush* happy to be back though :boogie: once a regular always a regular I guess

@  lollyh : (05 May 2018 - 04:22 PM)

@  Rattieroos : (14 February 2018 - 11:42 PM)

Recently lost Dove and Peaches as well. Dove had an ovarian tumor that even the vet was shocked at the size. I let him do a necropsy and he let me stay. Then Peaches had 3 lumps removed but somewhere within the 1st or 2nd day recovery from the surgery, she must have had a stroke or a blood clot :bigeyecry:

Saw this on another forum and thought it would be an interesting thread :) So, what did your ratties get? Mine got Oatso Easy this morning (Iso, but the Fats got to lick the bowl), and tonight they'll get some grapes, tomatoes, brocolli/cauliflower and fish :) Going to sticky this thread so we all can update it every day and maybe give each other ideas :)

I quite regularly give ours sugar snap peas (mangetout) and baby corn, microwaved for about 20 seconds after being washed. They sometimes seem to quite enjoy rocket. Or spreading rocket around the cage, depending on the day. :)

...we are on a rat forum...it's called MICE crispies!! lol

Mine had cerelac honey this morning with Protexin added for the babies, followed by dry mix (with added Mice Crispies!) and tea.
Tonight they'll get veggies and biscuits. Love the rat sized marie biscuits! :ratcookie:

Wow I feel quite bad that my guys only got some ViralGuard-smeared banana in the morning with a grape each (in season of course) and some pea and smoked ham soup for supper :P Typically though they get peas/corn/brocolli/etc with honey and feta each night...it actaully tastes really nice and I have it occasionally with them

Clearly i am the worst mom when it comes to diet. Mine have purity baby cereal each morning but for the last 2 nights my clan have supped on a mixture of rice, peas, mashed butternut, gravy ( made from packet chicken soap) and lamb chop dripping ( loving it!). One or 2 nights a week they just get to have dry food though on these days they get a biscuit treat and a few other goodies to make it less boring.

They're soft, fluffy and sweet, come in many styles and are wonderfully satisfying. But they always leave you wanting more

Last night I ended up going to Spur, so I asked our waitor for a small tub of butternut/pumpkin to take away, so they gave it to me for free so my girls got rice and butternut for dinner and Iso LOVED it :) She also got her Ensure of course :thud:

This is a funny site! What with mice crispies and chicken soap lol My guys got their normal bowl of baby pronuto (vanilla flavour) this morning. Last night they got their usual veg/fruit mix with added honey and olive oil. I think probably the same as what Klept gives his (ice cubes). Last night they also got a rocket leaf each which they grabbed but then kinda just stared at me as if to say "but mooooooom, this is not sweet". Mini maries are their treats but not every night as they are now on a strict diet. Shame. Oh, and they also each bit into a grape last night, but then lost interest. They are NOT into this whole health fad! Dried mix is Ratanooga mix

Mine get nutri-boost every morning with fresh fruit (whatever we're having) - mixed veg and pasta, some sunflower seeds and sometimes a cracker or some toast. I don"t give them supper - they usually just finish off their reggie rat..

My kids get cooked peas, pasta & corn, with museli/puffed wheat, grape and a tiny nibble of cheese and marie biscuit for a treat. They have dry food in their cage all day to snack on ( they are little gluttons! ) and I usually give them a taste of what I'm enjoying: chicken, potato, yoghurt, pronutro, chocolate etc. I think they should eat more colourful/leafy veggies but they're not keen, any ideas? Spoilt rotten ratties!!

Don't worry MR, my girls prefer cooked food too. It's rare they finish raw or lightly cooked veg
